Fabric American Flag

This is one of my favorite diy wall decor items in my home. It is super easy and is sure to catch many eyes.

Instructions

1. 

   Gather your supplies: 1 1/2 yards of white/off- white fabric, 4 yards of ribbon (lace, poms), 1/2 yard of red fabric, a 15X 13 square of blue and white fabric, a dowel rod, and a hot glue gun.

2. 

   All your going to do is tie your strips of white and red into your dowel rod. I put a red strip in between every 6 white strips.

3. 

   Now, you can take your blue fabric and hot glue the top two corners of the rectangle to the two strips behind the piece.
