I actually free handed this entire project using a template of 7×5 (7 x’s down, 5 across). I just sort of figured how to do everything as I went, and the music note was the hardest part. Turns out that free handing a leaning music note with a log tail in a 7×5 space is actually impossible. So just pretend that it looks how it’s suppose to. This whole project went by in a few hours and was actually a total breeze. Not having to worry about making something look like a pre-existing pattern was really freeing, I highly recommend it.

Your Ingredients.
Stitch on your design, take it out of the hoop to wash, allow to dry, re situate it in its hoop cut off excess and glue down edges onto the back of the hoop.
