I loved this idea so much and the outcome too! Now I have lots of new ideas based on this, all I need is lots of paper rolls!
Cutting and painting all these (used 15 rolls -> 75 pieces) takes a bit longer than expected, but it's well worth it.

I used an ordinary thing to hang paintings and such, I have no idea what they're called in English. It's a plastic thing you can glue to the wall and then remove when you want to without leaving a mark.
Tamara G: no, I painted them the same colour on both sides but sprinkled some gold on the outside to make a bit more lively.
