Anyone who grew up in the 80′s will recognize the…erm…new (but oh-so-retro) friendship bracelet trend that all of the stylish kids are sporting nowadays. When I was a lass, the amount of friendship bracelets gracing your arms directly equaled how cool you were…never being one to follow the herd (I was the opposite of cool in school), I had none…however, my tiny band of misfits created our own version of ‘friendship accessories’ that totally kicked arsch... Friendship (safety) Pins, baby! Jump off the bracelet bandwagon & create some for your retro pals:

Instructions

    Grab some safety pins, beads, charms, etc…

    unclasp the pin & slip a few beads onto the bar…

    leave enough space at the end for easy closure & yer done!

    Creating/receiving a name friendship pin is extra special, but unfortunately leaves little room for beads…
