You Will Need

Step 1Be sure your jar is completely clean. Trace, draw or stencil a design onto the paper side of stick-on Contact paper. If you're using letters, be sure they're backwards. Cut out the design using an Xacto knife. Peel off the backing and stick the stencil onto the jar.

Step 2Liberally apply the etching cream inside the cut outs. Let it sit for an hour.

Step 3Rinse off the etching cream and remove the stencil. I had a couple of spots that needed a little more time, so I carefully applied the cream in those areas and let it sit for another hour.

Step 4Fill your jar with something fun!
