Description

Inspired by our gorgeous rainbow bouquet, I decided to give this vase a crafty button makeover with etching spray. It's fast, simple and looks as cute as can be!

Instructions

  1. Small 111467 2f2015 10 13 160333 img 6667

Start off with a glass vase and give it a nice clean before you start.

  2. Small 111467 2f2015 10 13 160400 img 6669

Cut circles of sticker paper in various sizes.

  3. Small 111467 2f2015 10 13 160424 img 6670

Use a hole punch to punch two holes out of the middle of the smaller circles and four holes out of the larger circles.

  4. Small 111467 2f2015 10 13 160510 img 6671

Stick the stickers around the vase in a nice design.

  5. Small 111467 2f2015 10 13 160615 img 6672

Protect your surface with some paper and place the vase in the middle.

  6. Small 111467 2f2015 10 13 160648 img 6673

Spray with a couple of generous coats of etching spray and leave to dry.

  7. Small 111467 2f2015 10 13 160709 img 6674

When dry, carefully peel of the stickers to reveal your button design.

You can neaten up any areas that aren't crisp by scraping away the etching spray with tweezers or the tip of a cutting knife.
