English Muffin turned Pizza
Leftover English Muffin dough, turned into a fabulous pizza. This was so easy to make, you won't need ANY experience or special equipment to achieve it.

Here's the recipe for the dough. It can't get easier!

  • Step 1

Mix the dry ingredients in a large tupperware. (the dough will rise in it)
Mix the wet ingredients and add it to the flour mix.

  • Step 2

Now start mixing with your hand or a wooden spoon until you don't see anymore dry bits of flour. If the dough seems too dry, add a little water to adjust.
You should now have what looks like a ragged semi-soft ball of dough.

  • Step 3

Cover your tupperware and leave it to rest for 2 hours in a warm spot.

  • Step 4

After this time, your dough will nearly have trippled.
Put the tupperware in the fridge and forget about it until tomorrow morning (the texture and flavor will develop over night!).

  • Step 5

Whatever I had left from the english muffin dough, I rolled it out and let it rise for 20 minutes, topped and baked at 200 degrees celcius (390 degrees farenheit) for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Pretty easy!

    Bonne Apetit!
ps: there's enough dough here for 4-5 medium sized pizza, so divide recipe as needed.

The english muffins are actually baked on a skillet or hot griddle, but truth is, you can do a lot of things with this dough. You can also stuffed it or make a foccacia (umm... olive oil & rosemary).
You can see the full intructions for the English Muffins in my blog. But all in all, you have to roll out the dough (thicker), cut out circles, let rise for 20 to 30 minutes on a large tray (with lots of corn flour!) and drop, one by one on the hot skillet, around 3 minutes on each side.
Let me know how it comes out!

You'r recipe looks really tasty!!
I would like to make the pizza & the muffins, so I was wandering if you bake the muffins the same time/degrees as the pizza?
- Thanks!
