Description

With the use of a Sublime Stitching Iron-on Transfer pen you can make a custom hat that features your favorite word or image with ease. Hats make a great surface to created stitched words and art.

Instructions

    Place scrap paper on the brim of your hat and sketch out your design. Once you have the letter size print it out in the font you like. Cut the letters out so they can be arranged on the brim.

    Using the Sublime Stitching transfer pen draw the lines of the letters on the back side of the paper. Place the letter on the brim of the hat and iron on the paper to transfer the lines. I used a Walnut Hollow Versa-Tool on a medium setting checking often to see the transfer lines and not melt the hat.

    Once you have all your lines transferred. Embroider the letters using your favorite stitch.

    I used large stitches as there were open spaces on the hat. For a final touch I added a polka dot ribbon for a splash of color.
