A Chart to Remember The Eight Limbs of Yoga
I made a chart to help me remember and focus on the eight things that lead up to enlightenment, which yoga can help you achieve. It will also help me remember the chakras (colours of panels 1 - 6). The circle in the centre says 'OM'.

This could easily be adapted for other things such as religious holidays, the five Pillars of Islam, seasons, numbers on a clock anything. It would make a great educational/revision tool for children as well.

  • Step 1

Draw around a bowl or use a compass to make a circle.

  • Step 2

Mark out each section using a pencil and a ruler.

  • Step 3

Draw things that represent - in this case - the Eight Limbs of Yoga in the sections.

  • Step 4

Paint. Once the chart is dry use the ink, a marker or a fine liner pen to go over the lines, the words and to fill in any small details you couldn't manage in paint.

  • Step 5

And finally stick it on a wall where you practice your yoga!
