Eggnog
A tasty traditional Christmas drink.

I love eggnog but you can't buy it as easily in the UK as you can in America, so I decided to make my own.

You Will Need (6 things)
- 6 Egg(s)
- 1 ½ pints Milk
- 1 cup Double Cream
- ½ cup Sugar
- 3 shot Bourbon
- 2 tsp Nutmeg
Steps (6 steps, 40 minutes)

Start by separating the egg yolks and whites in to two mixing bowls.

Beat together the egg yolks with the majority of the sugar, saving a few tablespoons for the whites.

Add the milk and double cream.

Add the nutmeg and, if you want to make the drink alcoholic, the bourbon.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with the remaining sugar, until thick and fluffy.

Finally whisk together both of the mixtures and chill. Serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
