This is a thick & tasty eggnog.
You could add alcohol if you wish but it tastes great without.
Whisk the eggs & sugar together until light & fluffy.
Heat the cream, milk, vanilla & nutmeg until barely simmering.
Add one large spoon of the milk mixture to the egg mixture.
Stir to combine.
Keep adding the milk mixture spoon by spoon until all used up.
Return to the hob & cook until temp reaches 160 degrees & liquid thickens.
Remove from heat & put into a jug to cool.
When cold, put into fridge.
Serve cold with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
