Red lips pull every make up look together, they are the epitome of retro vintage elegance. I have been wearing my lips red for over a decade and have recently started to enjoy adding and ombre effect to the corners of my lips to give the classic red lip, a modern and edgy twist.
Red lips pull every make up look together, they are the epitome of retro vintage elegance. I have been wearing my lips red for over a decade and have recently started to enjoy adding and ombre effect to the corners of my lips to give the classic red lip, a modern and edgy twist.
Line your lips as normal with your red liner keeping it as neat as you can.
Start to fully colour in your lips using your red lip liner eaving only the middle clean.
Using a lipstick brush, apply the red lipstick to the centre AND lined areas of the lips
Taking your darker lip liner, define the corners of your lips, rub your lips together for it to naturally blend. If it looks too harsh, use your lipstick brush to blend the colour in further.
Once blended you should be left with a very subtle Ombre lip effect.
I love this look; it’s a real statement lip that pulls together the entire make up look.
