Easy soaps you can make at home in under 20 minutes! :D
(sorry I don't have an image, but the soap DID come out really nice :D )

So, I am always annoyed at how soap annoys my skin, and it's really only because when soap is manufactured for stores, the glycerin is sucked out of it! that leaves you with a really drying bar of soap!

I did some research, and then came up with this recipe. I used cinnamon for my scent, but you can use any oils or perfume (though perfume isnt really that good for your skin), or spices (don't use spicey spices though! O_O )

  • Step 1

Take your water in bring it to a boil over high heat (I had mine on 9, the second to highest temperature).

  • Step 2

Grate (or take your soap and put it into some sort of chopping machine like a magic bullet or whatever)your soap.

Add it to the boiling water and let it combine without stirring! when it starts looking a bit thicker, continue to stir it every half a minute or so. Add your glycerin, you can chop it into small cubes when you add it, but it melts quite fast, so dont grate it.

  • Step 3

    now, add the olive oil.
also add some of the spice or fragrance you want. (not all of what youre going to use.)

walk away for 5 minutes, then come back. it should be becoming hard.

mix and mix until it forms into a 'dough'. squish it and mix it with the spoon until it starts becoming dryer.

  • Step 4

take it off the heat and put it on a surface. add more fragrance or spices and knead by hand. as it cools, it will become harder.

  • Step 5

shape it or put it into a mold and wait 5 minutes and then take it out and its ready to be used!! :D

(it will lather really nice too, btw)
