  • Step 1

    Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda into a mixing bowl.

    Add 3 tsp of glycerin for every 1/4 cup of dry ingredients.

    By now you should have added 6 tsp of glycerin to the mix.

  • Step 2

    Add 1/4 cup of household hydrogen peroxide and a drop of peppermint oil (or whatever else you'd like) to the mix.

  • Step 3

    Stir into a paste, store in a container that you can squeeze the stuff out of, and enjoy your home made toothpaste.

I used like a mini shampoo container so it was pretty much a long cylinder with a shampoo bottle top that the toothpaste comes out of. Hope that helps.
