Oh noes!!!

I saw this idea on a cheap home deco show a few years ago. The episode covered the entire wall with a thin decorative fabric. Most likely cotton, similar to the fabric used for quilting.. I'm a little curious & may try a wall in the garage or something just for kicks... Anyways, here is a scaled down version of it. This works great for those who live in apartments & are afraid to paint but still want some personality on their walls. This was done in my daughter's room, who switches back & forth to fave colors like no body's business. It's really easy & simple, and when you get tired of it just peel off the wall & wash down with a damn cloth. Q:Where do you find liquid starch? A:In the laundry isle, normally at the top shelf & in a Bright blue Bottle (most common brand in my area)similar to a bleach white bottle... Instructions

  1. Cut your fun pieces out of felt. Your choice of colors & shapes. You can even buy the pre-cut package ones at the art store to make it super easy on you. I think fun papers would work too as long as the color doesn't bleed & ruin your walls. I suggest you test it out in a less obvious spot before proceeding w/ a project. In our case we had different sizes of circles, in colors of greens and blues.

Now take your pieces & soak them in the liquid starch. STOP! Don't do them all at once. Be patient! Do them one at a time! Don't over soak them or you'll have drip marks down your wall. Wring them out if needed & then place on wall.
