Description

You can whip up this cute scarf in under an hour. No knitting required. All you need is a fray-able fabric and about 45 minutes. Let's get started...

Instructions

  1. Small 100 5232 1324323681

Cut your fabric... Cut two pieces of fabric that are 62" X 8"

  2. Small 100 5234 1324323712

Measure and mark 3" from each end.

  3. Small scarf fringe 1324324074

Let's make the fringe... Start at one end and pull the threads of the fabric so that it begins to fray. Continue this until you get to your 3" mark. It helps to use a coarse bristle brush.

  4. Small 100 5245 1324324196

Continue this process on all four ends of your fabric until you get 3" fringe on each end.

  5. Small scarf stitch 1324324551

Put it together... Place the two pieces right sides together Pin and sew down the long sides leaving the short side open. 1/4" to 1/2" seam allowance

  6. Small 100 5249 1324324575

Turn your scarf right side out

  7. Small 100 5250 1324324596

    Press the scarf flat

  8. Small 100 5251 1324324661

Using a small stitch length, stitch along the short sides of the scarf. Stitch as close to where the fringe begins as possible.

  9. Small 100 5252 1324324735

Top stitch along the edge of the scarf using a 1/8" seam allowance.
