This is a very simple project that turns an invasive species of plant into some beautiful candles.

You Will Need (2 things)

  • 1 3 inch diamteter Tree Branch
  • 3 Tea Candle

Steps (4 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

Cut a branch from a tree that is about 3-4 inches in diameter. I used buckthorn because it is a nice hardwood and it is an invasive species that should be cut down anyway.

  2. 2

Using a mitre or a saw, cut the lengths of candles you desire. I recommend a small, medium and large. You can cut as many as you like.

  3. 3

Using a one inch bit, drill holes into the tops of each candle. These should be just deep enough so that a tea light candle will be flush with at the top.

  4. 4

Place the tea candles in the holes, arrange on a table, and you are done.
