Step 1
take an old shirt of your maybe like an XL OR XXL t-shirt
Step 2
Cut the sleeves
Step 3
cut your shirt in the middle
Step 4
then cut a v at the collar

And what about the sleeves? I saw a video in youtube about this tecnique and they sew the sleeves back on the cardigan.
