This super-easy bracelet needs only one yard of black leather or cotton thong, nothing else..... Only takes 5 minutes to make and is equally great for a boy or a girl. Make longer for a matching choker!
Take one yard of thonging and a pair of scissors....
Fold thonging in half and tie a knot to make a loop about half an inch long.....
twist the two long tails together as shown until the twisted part is as long as your wrist measurement plus about half an inch.....
now tie a knot at the right length for your wrist....
now tie another knot on top of that one, to make it chunky....this is going to be the fastener. Cut off the remaining lengths of thonging.........
Cut the bits you've just cut off into four pieces about 3" long
Tie firmly along length of bracelet
trim to size with scissors... try to cut ends at an angle to make them look sharp.
Push large double knot through loop to fasten.
