Trace this pattern on your fabric: a) red circle should measure 3 inches +circumference of the baby's head b) yellow line should measure from 1 to 3 inches(that is going to be width of the brim of the hat)
Sew the ribbon on along the green line.
Shirr the hat along the red line and....voila!
