To hang and display your earrings!
I took an old picture frame, threw away the picture and glass, sanded and painted the frame, drilled small holes in pairs of two on the wood backing, secured ribbon to hang it up with on it, glued small pieces of cork in each corner on the back so the earrings could be taken out and put in while hanging from the wall, and called it done.
