Hi :D Thanks for looking at my cow! I hope you like it! Why? Friends are going abroad for no one knows how long. I wanted to give them something Dutch for their journeys. Stroopwafels and dropjes (Dutch treats) are too common and would be gone before they would even be on the plane, so I made them this cow for on a backpack. How? I saw this Instructable from Needle Noodles: www.instructables.com/id/Cow-Tipping-the-Humane-Way It is a bit getting used to, because she doesn't crochet in the round. But just follow the end amount of stitches and you'll get there. I added some hair with acrylic yarn and brushing it out. She has a collar with the Dutch colours. And on her back I macraméd a loop with a keyring, so they can hang it on a backpack. I hope this cow can be a conversation piece and a reminder of Holland during their journeys. Greetings, Cindy
