Fairly easy scarf with dropped stitches
If you can cast on stitches, knit, purl, and bind off, you are almost there. The only other element is to intentionally drop stitches and who hasn't done that unintentionally, right? So now the pattern will instruct you when to drop them on purpose. Yippee!
