I was able to make this for free because I had all of the supplies on hand, but it would be very inexpensive even if you needed to go out and buy a few things. The design possibilities are endless!

Description

I was able to make this for free because I had all of the supplies on hand, but it would be very inexpensive even if you needed to go out and buy a few things. The design possibilities are endless!

Instructions

  1. Cut and sew the drop-cloth into the size you want your table runner to be. *Optional: sew the edges. The beauty of using a dropcloth is that no sewing is required, however you can do a quick stitch around the edges with a bright colored thread to make it even more special!

  2. Small 102788 2f2014 06 23 201159 img 5965

Draw your design on your stencil paper then cut it out out - I can't draw and I am really messy painter, so I went with as simple of a design as possible. You could also use a pre-made stencil.

Paint the your design onto your runner any way you like.

Let the paint dry and enjoy the finished product!
