The crepe is in a color slightly brighter than the lace in order to create an airy look.

Fabric [Russell lace]—44 in (112cm) wide: 21⁄4 yd (2m) [polyester crepe de Chine]—44 in (112cm) wide: for sizes 4, 6–25⁄8 yd (2.3m) for sizes 8-14 23⁄4 yd (2.5m) Fusible Interfacing (for armhole facing)—36 in (90cm) wide: 16 in (40cm) Invisible Zipper —22 in (56cm) long Hook and eye x 1 set

Instructions

1. 

   Preparation: Place lace and crepe de Chine body sections together and baste. *M through both layers at sides of back and center back. Apply fusible interfacing to armhole facings and M around outer edges of facings.

2. 

   Sew bust darts (press upwards and M along sides)

3. 

   Sew front and back yokes to corresponding body sections (press seam allowances towards yokes)

4. Sew center back seam from zipper endpoint to hem (open out seam). Using longest stitch on machine, sew seam where zipper is to be placed along center back (open out seam).

5. Attach zipper

6. 

   Sew shoulders of yoke and yoke lining (open out seams)

7. Match right sides of yoke and yoke lining and sew neckline. Turn right side out

8. Attach yoke lining to body section

9. 

   Sew sides (open out seams). Fold hem up once and sew

10. 

    Fold edge of shoulder frill twice and sew. Place upper and lower frills together and create gathering

11. Sew shoulders and sides of neckline facing (open out seams). Sandwich shoulder frills between body section and facing and sew along armholes. Turn right side out

12. 

    Blind hem stitch outer edges of armhole facings to yoke lining and sides. Attach hook and eye
