No sewing, no gluing.. basic skils :-) Dress up that old pony-tail or new one. I use my ribbon scraps for leftover projects or from clearance bin at Michaels. You can switch it up and use different craft items or colors or your team, match your outfit etc. Nothing is set in stone because the items are easily removed.

For this project I have a standard black pony tail and assorted ribbon and trim. Once you decide what you want to decorate your pony tail, cut out the lengths you want. This is where you can get very creative. There is quite a variety of ribbon, sequins, flowers, and even shoelaces that you can use in your project. Don't worry about precise measurements. It adds to the effect by using variation. To choose your length, guess about the length you want then multiple it by two and add about an inch. This is important because you will lose some length in the process.
Once you have cut your ribbon or supplies and laid them out in the order you want to go, start by placing the first piece through the pony tail holder as so.
Pull piece through about halfway through and tie in a basic knot. The knot does not have to be precise.
Continue on and add the rest of your pieces in the same fashion to the pony tail holder. Pull the pieces together on one side of the pony tail holder. Tighter you knots if need be.
Wear your new pony tail holder with style :-)
