Step 1the pattern is only body and arms. to get the edge, take some string and run it along the body. after going carefully all the way around, measure the string. add about 4 inches to this and you have the lenghth of the side part. recommended width is 2 to 3 1/2 inches.
cut out pices -
Step 2cut out rectangle where mouth will be. on the back, sew on a piece of red felt so it peaks out of the hole. sew on teeth and eyes

Step 3along sides, sew edge strip to top and bottom. be careful that it all lines up, I pined mine while I sewed it. stuff body and sew closed.
