Dolly Mixture Bunting

Dolly mixture bunting for wedding candy table
I was asked by a friend to do some bunting for her wedding. She wanted one to go on a candy table for the kids and one to hang on a fireplace. This one i made was for the candy table. The bunting i usually make are neutral colours, so i needed to find fabric that was colourful but also fits in with a candy theme. Even though i hate dolly mixture sweets with a passion, i really liked the fabric. I cut out my fabric using my flag stencil, sewn the flags and freyed the tops. To attatch each flag i chose bright coloured wooden buttons that matched in the fabric. I found the material difficult to frey. Love this buntingmore than my others sooooo far.
