I made these ornaments for a guy I know who loves Doctor Who as much as I do, if not more. He doesn't have many Christmas ornaments for his tree and was talking about getting some Doctor Who themed ornaments for his tree so I whipped these little things up while watching Christmas movies last weekend. He absolutely loved then and was shocked to find out that I had sewn them myself. They are now on his Christmas tree. My son actually wants me to make a set for our tree now :) They are pretty easy to make. Cut out the pieces and sew together. Stuff with a small amount of stuffing and sew opening closed. For glasses, use tacky glue and gently press the lenses down. For the TARDIS I embroidered Police Box on with some embroidery thread and black felt and then glued that to the blue felt. I glued white felt for windows and used black puffy fabric paint to make the window bars and squares on the doors. When all finished sew thread or ribbon on to make a hanger for the ornaments and place on tree. The longest part of this was waiting for the paint to dry. I would leave it out for at least 12-24 hours to make absolutely sure.
