Find a old envelope purse. I got mine about a year ago for just 50 cents at a flea market, and I used it all the time. Let's just say it's best days were coming to an end...
Get a piece of fabric of your choice. Stretchy fabric works the best, because you will be bending it while opening your purse.
Glue the fabric to the purse in one big piece. It's best to use good durable glue, but just a bit so the whole purse doesn't harden up.
Add studs if you would like to. The purse was so thick that I had to just stick the studs in with pliers without bending the ends, because they didn't come through
