Do you have an old denim jacket that you don't wear anymore? I had one that I looked at every other month and asked myself if I would ever wear it again. But then this idea popped into my head! Why not just upcycle it? So I cut off the sleeves and sew some fabric pieces with different and colorful patterns on some parts of my denim jacket. Sounds easy right? Well it actually is and I am going to show you how to do this with just a few easy steps and soon you'll be looking at your new favorite fashion piece

Let's start! The very first thing I did was to cut off the sleeves from the denim jacket and sew a hem by wrapping the ends on each side for 1 cm and sewing it. It's best to use a needle made for sewing denim.

Now take some fabric (remnants) with different kinds of patterns and sew them on any part of your jacket that you want! You can do whatever you like with your jacket

Some advice: you can pin the fabric for a certain part of your jacket on this particular part and then crop it along these pins. So you can skip the part where you have to measure everything accurately.
