  Step 2

  measure waist. your natural waist measurement is at your belt button.

• 

  Step 3

  measure hips

• 

  Step 4

  measure from waist to hip then full length you want the skirt

• 

  Step 5

  divide the waist and hip measurement by 4 and draw the waist line then from the centre of the wait line draw down the measurement you took from waist to hip. then from there draw the hip measurement.

  Step 6

  draw a curve joining up these lines

• 

  Step 7

  cut out your pattern leaving 1 inch seam allowance
  this is your pattern you will cut 2 on the fold of fabric.

• 

  Step 8

  pin onto fabric and cut on fold 2x

• 

  Step 9

  place the 2 pieces right side together

• 

  Step 10

  zig zag sew the side seams together

• 

  Step 11

  then cut of the excess seam allowance from side seams

  and zig zag sew elastic into the waist and your done
