i finally made a silk screen! love this simple, inexpensive version--- i printed out a picture of blondie- taped it to the back of sheer fabric that i had put in the embroidery hoop- covered negative areas with mod podge (very time consuming)- then used tulip soft fabric paint to fill in the empty spaces-- my only advice is you must get the paint on heavy and fast-- my first printing looked awful-- i had been just stippling paint on with a brush-- then when i went to wash the screen out, alot of the paint had dried already--- so for the next try (the one picture) i just glopped the paint on and spread around as quick as i could- came out better but lost some of the detail due to paint drying on screen around edges-- very happy with the result - my son is begging to make a "slash" silkscreen shirt for him next:) more photos here on my blog http://hotpinkpotential.blogspot.com/2011/02/slash-and-blondie-screen-ts.html
