Description

My friend Nibby showed me how to make a really rad scarf out of an old tshirt! It takes about an hour of labor and you will spend maybe $5 maximum.

Instructions

  1. Small orig 11524771

First cut a bunch of 5 by 8 inch squares out of the t-shirt.

  2. Small orig 11524801

Cut tiny slits up the square but leave about an inch at the top.

  3. Small orig 11524821

    Continue along.

  4. Small orig 11524831

After cutting all the slits, pull the bottom of each strip to streatch it out.

  5. Small orig 11524841

Once you have as many squares cut and streached as you can out of the t-shirt, tie them together at the end of each strip.

  6. Small orig 11524851

this is optional but you can dip dye the end of the scarf! I chose black clothing dye!
