DIY scissor case pattern
Making a scissor case is a good way to protect scissors as well as yourself. Sharp tip could be saved if it is kept in a case and you won't worry you are hurt by cutting. Actually you can DIY scissor case pattern in your own style if you want one.

Step 1
Cut the pattern
Trace the template of your scissors on the paper; cut out the paper pattern for more than 0.5cm all around. Cut out the felt pattern, leaving another 0.5cm for seam allowance.
Step 2
Embroider the felt
Draw the appearance of your scissors on the felt with tailor's chalk.
Embroider your scissors pattern with running stitch.
Step 3
Add cotton lining and lining
Cut out two pieces of cotton lining 2mm smaller than felt pattern; glue one at each back of felt pattern. Cut lining with cotton fabric and add it onto the cotton lining by gluing.
Step 4
Sew a case
Lay the two pieces of felt pattern faced with reverse side; sew along the edges; leave the place of scissors handle open. Then a scissor case is formed.
