    First we built a wooden frame with a base attached at the bottom which we painted a medium grey. 2 - 350 x 70 x 20mm Planks {front and back} 2 - 250 x 70 x 20mm Planks {sides} 1 - 350 x 290mm Plank/other {for the base}

    The glass we had cut at a local glass supplier in the following sizes: 2 - 300 x 200 x 3mm {front and back} 2 - 250 x 200 x 3mm {sides} We used clear Marine Silicone as an adhesive and built a rectangular glass "box" which fitted nicely into the wooden frame we have built

    All we had was a small piece of steel mesh {NOTE: always make double sure you have enough for a project and do not assume - that's more a reminder to myself!} So, here we cut and shaped the steel mesh to fit inside the wooden box.

  4. Small 114970 2f2016 09 20 072955 fire%2bfeature 5

    Cut a round hole, big enough for a tin can to fit through - insert the can securely.

  5. Small 114970 2f2016 09 20 073003 fire%2bfeature 6

    Place inside the wooden box {see ours is a tad too small - but not a problem}.

  6. Small 114970 2f2016 09 20 073012 fire%2bfeature 7

    We simply filled the open sides with stones until it was all packed tight.

  7. Small 114970 2f2016 09 20 073019 fire%2bfeature 8

    Filled up with stones to the same height as the can and add Bio-fuel. Light your fire, sit back and enjoy!
