Step 1The secret ingredient to this project is COTTON. Namely, cotton balls and cotton swabs. The cotton balls can be used with alcohol to clean the outside of the champagne flutes to prepare the area to be painted. The cotton swabs (aka: q-tips) will be used to create perfectly wound polka dots.

Step 2Prepare your station. Get a paper plate ready for paint and cotton swabs ready for dipping. Clean your glassware.

Step 3Making a polka dot is easy. Simple dip the tip of the cotton swab in the paint and dot it on the glassware. For this look, it's unnecessary to be uniform in the polka dotting, feel free to be free form and work from the bottom up. I did not polka dot all the way to the top, but if that's your style...go for it!

Step 4There you have it, easily painted polka dot champagne flutes perfect for any party or event. Hand wash!
