This stuff is great! we had no money till next weekend...so i looked in my daughters craft books. i found DIY play dough and decided to give it a shot! Me and my boyfriend spent a weekend making little things like beads, flowers, skulls, and small wall hangings.

This stuff is great! we had no money till next weekend...so i looked in my daughters craft books. i found DIY play dough and decided to give it a shot! Me and my boyfriend spent a weekend making little things like beads, flowers, skulls, and small wall hangings.

Instructions

    STEP 1 1. First get a BIG bowl! 2. Measure out flour and salt. 3. Add water, but only about a 1/4 of a cup at a time till desired consistency. Kneading constantly...this could take up to 10min.

    Step 2 so you should have dough that looks like this. also you have the option to add food coloring.

    STEP 3 Set your oven for 200 degrees. leave them in for 2-4 hours. if they start to brown make sure to cover w/foil or take them out! OR if you don't want to use your oven you can leave out your creations to air dry. depending on the size, this could take 2 hours to 2-3 days.

    STEP 4 So once your let your creations cool and they are completely dry, they are hard as a rock! you can paint them, i used acrylics, watercolors, and if you want a gloss finish, just apply a coat of Mod-podge!
