Description

This is my recipe for an amazing Peppermint Foot Balm that will soften and invigorate rough, tired feet and I have even designed fun gift tags for you to attach to your own homemade balm! Instructions

  1. Small 2020 12 01 155422 3

First we’re going to set up a double boiler with around an inch of boiling water in a small to medium-sized pot. Dump your ingredients into a large metal or glass mixing bowl and set over the boiling water to gently melt the ingredients together. Whisk until completely melted and remove from heat.

  2. Small 2020 12 01 155447 7

Let your ingredients cool down for about 5 minutes, then add in your essential oil. I used around 60 drops of the peppermint oil to get a good, strong peppermint scent.

  3. Small 2020 12 01 155507 8

Pour the balm into your container and allow to set, or you can also place it in the fridge or freezer to speed this process along.

  4. Small 2020 12 01 155526 10

Once congealed, keep your balm at room temperature to keep it creamy and spreadable.

  5. Small 2020 12 01 155621 peppermint foot balm gift tags

For the tags: Just cut them out, fold in half, punch a hole through the corner, thread a pretty ribbon through, and tie to the neck of your container. The directions for use are on the back and there is space inside for a personal note.
