Description

Instead of buying an expensive multi photo frame in the store, make use of some old frames lying around and make one yourself! (Estimated time not included drying time)

Instructions

  1. Small 114670 2f2016 07 10 132821 img 2374

Gather old photo frames, as many as you want in you finished collage-frame.

  2. Small 114670 2f2016 07 10 132835 img 2379

Remove photos, glass and everything else in the frames. Lay them out on the floor/table and decide how you want your design to look.

  3. Glue them together using a strong glue (I used a two component epoxy glue). Follow the instructions on how to use your glue correctly. Use clamps to make the frames stick together, and let dry over night. Since I had so few clamps, this step took a couple of days to finish.

When all of the frames are attached, lay it on a large peace of plastic, or some newspaper. Spraypaint it in your desired colour, by following the instructions on the can. This step should preferrably be done outside, if you have the opportunity. You could also paint it with a brush, but that would take more time, and leave brush-stroke-marks. Let dry overnight.

If the pictures have anything poking out at the back, like supporters, remove those. Then reinsert the glass, photos and photo-backs again. Also, add hooks if none of the frames have hooks or something similar to hang it on a wall.

    The finished product :)
