Description

One of my favorite handmade cards by me! They turn out so elegant, you'll love them!

Instructions

  1. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 142923 20140430 113823

To make satin flower for this card you have to cut out 4-5 circles out of satin fabric of different diameters (I've cut out 4 circles of 4 different diameters).

  2. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 142926 burn

After cutting the circles, carefully burn their sides with a lighter or candle but it’s better to use candle.

  3. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 142931 bead

Use thread and needle to attach the circles (fabric layers) together to form a flower like pattern. Also attach a bead in the middle of the satin flower.

  4. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 142935 leaf

For the leaves I used green and blue satin fabric. Similarly cut and burn the sides of the fabric for the leaves

  5. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 142947 20140430 114914

    Flowers and leaves are ready!

  6. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 142941 20140430 114947

For the background I used burlap fabric but you can use any kind of fabric. Cut a small piece out of the burlap fabric, (I took 3 X 3 inches).

  7. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 142956 glue 2

Glue the flowers and leaves on the burlap fabric one by one as you like.

  8. Small 108010 2f2015 03 16 143201 20140430 122842

Apply glue at the back of the burlap fabric. Carefully place the glued side on the front of the card and press the corners of the burlap fabric, making sure it's glued evenly on all sides. Allow the glue to dry. Done!
