Instructions

  1. Small 112932 2f2016 01 14 012446 diy%2bmarble%2bphone%2bcharger%2b1

measure the circumference and the height of your charger. [my circumference was four and a half inches and my height was one and a half inches.]

  2. Small 112932 2f2016 01 14 012452 diy%2bmarble%2bphone%2bcharger%2b3%2b

on the back of the contact paper with the dimensions from step one, draw a box. [my box was four and a half by one and a half.] optional: if you want to cover the side where the usb cord plugs in, then trace that side somewhere along the width of your box. in the end I didn't want mine to cover that side, but you might like it.

  3. Small 112932 2f2016 01 14 012510 diy%2bmarble%2bphone%2bcharger%2b4

fill the container [that you don't mind ruining] with water and drop a couple of drops of nail polish into the water. some may sink to the bottom, so drop until it floats. then swirl the nail polish around in the water [I used a toothpick]. place the contact paper face down into the water, pull it out, and let it dry.

  4. Small 112932 2f2016 01 14 012527 diy%2bmarble%2bphone%2bcharger%2b2%2b

cut out the template, peel off the back, and stick it to your charger.

  5. Small 112932 2f2016 01 14 012536 diy%2bmarble%2bphone%2bcharger%2b7%2b

optional step: to cut out the hole where your usb cord goes, push the usb through the contact paper where the plug is [this should make an indention in the paper]. remove the contact paper and cut out the usb hole where the indention is. put the marbled contact paper back onto the charger and be happy.
