Make your own Lavender and honey Shea butter soap!
Kids love fun shaped, colored, and scented soap, and it's much easier to create your own than you might have thought. Just a few simple ingredients and you can create shaped soap bars that your child will love! These shaped soap bars are natural, moisturizing, and the lavender is great as part of your bedtime routine to relax and calm little minds (mom loves this soap too!)

Step 1Place the melt and pour shea soap and coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium heat (I bought a cheap pot to use just for soap and other DIY projects.)

Stir frequently until mixture is completely melted.

Remove pot from heat and stir in essential oil.

Step 4Stir in honey.

Step 5If desired stir in hibiscus powder until you get the desired shade. This is a good natural colorant to use in place of food coloring and has extra benefits for the skin, but you can use a drop or two of food coloring if you like.

Step 6Pour soap into molds, I poured half of mine without color then stirred in my coloring before pouring the rest for a fun variation.

Allow to set overnight, then pop soap from molds and it is ready to use. Store soap in a cool dry place until use.
