A few weeks ago I was checking out free items on Craigslist and came across a coffee table that was close by so I thought I’d go pick it up. While I was there a man and woman were pretty much completely getting rid of everything in this house. I don’t know who’s home it was but guessing it may have been a grandmother or grandfather who had passed away. Most of the funiture was dated and either needed to be thrown away or made over! It was kind of a dream for me! :) It was a fairly simple project! It was completed with little spray paint and fabric!

  2. Small 109934 2f2015 07 16 030328 painted%2bdetailed%2blamp

The first step is the spray paint the base of the lamp with a primer. I ended up not using any other spray paint because I liked the look of the primer on the lamp. I also painted the cord so that it matched.

  3. Small 109934 2f2015 07 16 030550 diy%2blamp%2brevamp%2b3

Once the paint was dry it was then time to recover the lamp shade. I used a spray adhesive to adhere the fabric to the original shade.
