Start taping the case with single strips of masking tape. Cover the case two times. Covering the inner side is not important. Just fold the excess tape inside for a finished and a neat look. You don't have to cover it in paint or color it, the ivory color looks good as it is!
Start drawing a regular pattern on the case. The possibilities of designing it are endless! I chose the chevron pattern.
Spray the sealant, paint a coat of clear nail polish or apply a coat of mod podge, seal it with any thing clear so that the ink doesn't comes off and the tape doesn't gets discolored.
