These pins are made using shrinky dinks and would be a great project to do with a group of friends or with your kids. They are easy to make and a lot of fun to wear! The pin craze is strong right now, so jump on board with this homemade heart eyes emoji pin! You can choose whatever design you want but I did an emoji because it was simple and fun! These pins are made using shrinky dinks and would be a great project to do with a group of friends or with your kids. They are easy to make and a lot of fun to wear! Instructions

  1. Start by prepping your shrinky dinks film. If you are using colored pencils you will have to gently sand it down, otherwise if you are using sharpies (which I suggest for more vibrant colors) you are good to go.

  2. Small 116268 2f2017 04 08 112611 p2040090

Draw your design on the shrinky dinks either by tracing it from an image or free handing it. Color it in with sharpies. Cut out the emoji shape.

  3. Bake in the oven on parchment paper at 325 degrees (or per shrinky dinks instructions) for about 3 minutes. The shrinky dinks will curl up and then lay flat again - once they are flat again they are "done."

  4. Small 116268 2f2017 04 08 112523 p2040106

Using a hot glue gun, glue on the pin back to the backside of the emoji. Pin it to your jean jacket and wear with pride!
