Hair clips made from felt and ribbon. Great for little girls, but use the same techniques to make hair clips for anybody.
Glue ribbon onto the hair clip (in sections). Squeeze the clip open to begin on the inside. Gluing the inside of the clip first helps, as the clip will hold the ribbon in place when it's closed. Hold each section of ribbon down with your fingers for about 20 seconds to let it set so the ribbon doesn't slide off.
Use scissors to cut the felt into any shape or character you want to be on the top of the clip. If using more than one piece of felt, glue or sew the pieces together. Attach rhinestones, extra ribbon, or anything else you want to use to embellish your piece.
Glue the felt onto the hairclip. Allow to dry before wearing.
