It all started with a fourth grade girl who wanted to make a flowy vest. She took one of her dad's old shirts and cut it up. Little did she know that her dad's shirts were BIG. Disappointed, she threw the the vest into her "failure" pile, never wanting to set eyes on it again. Years later, she found herself cleaning up the mother all sewing crap messes, only to discover the "vest". Inspired, she sewed up the front, pinned on a brooch, and BAM, she had a new shirt. Was it fate? No one knows.....

Cut off collar.
Cut off sleeves, slightly away from seam.
At the bottom of the shirt, find the middle, make a mark. At the top measure how wide you want the straps to be. ONLY ON THE FRONT Cut a "V" (with the bottom point of the shirt being the bottom point of the "V") MAKE SURE YOU ONLY CUT THE FRONT
Can you see the vest now? (if you can't--that's why I changed it into a shrit) Sew up the front to where the arm holes are. (inside out of course)
This is what it should look like.
Add a flower brooch to the thin side. If you don't it kinda looks baggy (my opinion)
