Description

I love making greeting cards. I have my own style and technique of making them as well. Check out this tutorial.

Instructions

  1. Small 107903 2f2015 03 10 112123 card%2b 280 29

Prepare items for making the card. You can sketch out a design on a piece of paper or arrange the materials (without gluing them) to see how the design might turn out to be.

  2. Small 107903 2f2015 03 10 112127 card%2b 281 29

Cut out a piece of burlap fabric (I kept 4 cm space around the background). Pull out 2-3 threads from the burlap fabric to create fringes around the border. Keep the threads, they might come handy in designing other cards.

  3. Small 107903 2f2015 03 10 112209 20141201 153453

Carefully glue the burlap fabric on the center of the card.

  4. Small 107903 2f2015 03 10 112137 20141201 153536

Glue the flowers and leaves on the burlap fabric.

  5. Small 107903 2f2015 03 10 112454 20141201 155610

You can keep it simple or you can add more details like I did. I added small sticks between the flowers and leaves and also added 2 tiny silver stone studs on both sides of the burlap fabric. Allow the glue to dry and the card will be ready!
