I love the look of geode necklaces, but sometimes that can weigh you down. I found beads at my local craft store that look like geodes, but a are super light weight!

I love the look of geode necklaces, but sometimes that can weigh you down. I found beads at my local craft store that look like geodes, but a are super light weight!

Instructions

    Supplies: - 6mm Glass Beads - 12mm Turquoise Beads - 3 Oval Geode Beads - 8 Eye Pins - Clasp - 2 Jump Rings - Beading Wire - Wire Protectors - 2 Crimp Beads - Needle Nose Pliers - Crimp Tool

    {Step 1}: Run your eye pin through your large oval beads. Create a loop at the other end.

    {Step 2}: Run your eye pins through your smaller beads. Cut down the end and create a loop. You will do this to 5 of your small beads.

    {Step 3}: Connect one of your small beads to the end of one of your oval beads. Then, cut a piece of jewelry wire that is 14 inches long. Run your wire through a crimp bead and then, run your wire through one side of your wire protector. Run your wire through the loop of your small bead and back down through your crimp bead. Use your crimp tool to close your crimp bead.

    {Step 4}: Add another small bead to the other side of your oval, then an oval, then a small bead, then an oval, and finally a small bead. Repeat Step 3 on the other end of your other oval bead.

    {Step 5}: Begin stringing your beads up each side of your wire. Start with a small bead and then a larger bead. Keep alternating beads until you have added 5 large beads on each side. Then, add 6 small beads to the top..

    {Step 6}: Repeat Step 1 on both ends of your strands to finish them off. Then, add your clasp.
